In the 1st covid lockdown I created an 8 week course for small businesses & makers to learn how to shoot their own content & show off their products in a consistent, professional way.
It was great, it kept me sane & enabled some amazing small businesses to really stand out online. I can still see the impact of the course in the images they create.
So in a year when we are all fighting to stand out & reach our valuable customers I'm running the course again, and plan to do so a few times a year from now on.
Staring the 4th September it will have you ready to go with great content & the photography skills needed to keep shooting long after the course is done.

The Programme
The Indie Business Workbook is an 8 week course, a mix of projets & online coaching/feedback from me.
You will learn to plan, shoot & develop great photography for your business.
Who is the training for?
Any small business or maker who wants to improve the photography they use to showcase their work.
If you can spare a few hours each week for 8 weeks to complete the tasks then it's for you.
What to expect
Using a workbook, guides (documents & videos) & 5 google meet sessions with me you will complete the course with an understanding of how to plan, compose, shoot & review (then shoot again) great photography for your business.
You will be given a module each week with info in how to work though the task & any practical hints & tips needed.
At the end of the course you will receive a bespoke Photography Shoot Guide (created from your work & my feedback) to use to further develop your photography.
Do i need a fancy camera?
NO!
I'd actually prefer you to use your phone as everyone has one of those handy.
I want you to come away with an understanding of light, composition & image selection to tell a story or build a brand.
Most importantly I want you to enjoy creating some great images for your business.

4th September through to 29th October.
So just in time for you to get your content ready for the Christmas shopping rush.
The course is self study but with scheduled review calls to give you feedback & keep you on track.
30 min online calls (via google meet) will be on Fridays or Sundays.
At the end of the course the workbook & info docs are yours to keep so you can return to them when you need.
Shoot location is your home or business & coaching will be online via Google Meet.
