Say hello to some of the nicest, most creative people in Qatar.
and i get to work with them.
One thing I love about Qatar is that it's massive creative ambition far outweighs it's tiny physical size. Which means you can't throw a custom designed cushion without hitting a super creative artist or designer.
Below are a few of my favourite creatives to work with here is Qatar, they are truly open, collaborative & it's great seeing our shots being used far & wide to promote their work here, globally & in everything from Instagram to publications such as Architectural Digest.
Maryam al Homeid & Yousef Ahmed
I first met Mayam & Yousef when I shot the Fereej al Najada project back in 2022 & their warmth & creativity really made an impression.
It's been great to work with them both on subsequent shoots over the last few years. Individually they create works that capture the soul of Qatar from Yousef's paintings using his custom made paints using local pigments to Maryam's graphic rugs that are truly iconic.
Our shoots are always fun, creative & the best part is Maryam is always open to my random shoot location suggestions!
Boo Design Studio & Studio 7
Although they are separate creative powerhouses I have created a combined gallery for Boo Design Studio & Asma at Studio 7 as they often collaborate on projects.
Joe & Amanda from Boo introduced me to Asma & we have worked on some great shoots together from portraits to products to events.
Most importantly though, Joe always bring the best chocolate & coffee when on a shoot.
